Acrobat plugged that gap (and it’s something I use a lot for printing out multi-page documents for reference at meetings, etc.) Luckily, I’ve now found another App that provides that service so no loss. What I missed most from Acrobat was the ability to booklet print it’s available on my Brother laser printer’s driver under Windows but not on the Mac. It does almost all I need and I’ve now got the full suite on my iPhone and iPad (the iOS Documents App is something I’ve sought for years as it’s great for keeping selected folders sync’d on my iPad). I was tempted to try this OSX version when it came out with an early adopter discount. My latest version was part of Adobe’s Creative Suite (5.5). ![]() I’ve used other pdf programs, too, though always returning to Acrobat as it just did its work easily and without fuss. I’ve long been a user of Adobe’s Acrobat Pro, needing just that little bit more than I could get from the free Reader or the basic version. I just used it because there was nothing else really I could see that would do the job. Yes XI did just about everything but wash the pots but it was always totally overkill for me and as I said it served me well.
